Summer brings out coffee’s wild side. While a warm cup of coffee feels cozy and comforting most other times of the year, that might be the last thing you want to wake up to on a warm, sticky summer day. This is the time of year to spice up your routine, and add some chilled flair to your coffee game. With our line of summer coffees, you have just what you need to get started. Here are some of our favorite treats using Schuil's Banana Split, Neapolitan, S’mores Campfire Cookie and Star Spangled Berries flavored coffees.
Star Spangled Coffee Milkshake
Ingredients:
- ½ cup cold Star Spangled Berries coffee
- ⅓ cup frozen blueberries
- ½ cup vanilla ice cream
Instructions:
Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until well combined
Top with whipped cream if desired
Neapolitan Cold Brew Float
Ingredients:
- 1-2 scoops of Neapolitan ice cream
- ½ cup cold brewed Neapolitan flavored coffee*
- ½ can of cream soda (for bubbles!)
Instructions:
Scoop ice cream into a sundae glass
Pour in the Neapolitan cold brew concentrate and cream soda
Top with a handful of chocolate chips and enjoy
*Any flavor cold brew will do here; we also tried Banana Split and LOVED it!
S’Mores Campfire Cookie Coffee Popsicles
Ingredients:
- 2 cups cold S’mores coffee
- ¾ cup heavy cream
- ½ cup simple syrup or maple syrup
Instructions:
Combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl, and then transfer into popsicle molds
Cover the mold with foil, and insert popsicle sticks
Wait 8 hours or until completely frozen to remove and eat
Banana Split Smoothie
Ingredients:
- ½ cup Banana Split cold brew concentrate
- ½ cup milk of choice (try it with almond milk or coconut milk for extra richness)
- 1 frozen banana
- 1 tablespoon cacao powder
- 1 tablespoon of almond butter (or nut butter of choice)
- 1 cup of ice cubes
Instructions:
Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until well combined
Drizzle with chocolate sauce and garnish with a cherry
